Hair Growth Tips
Dreaming of long healthy hair? Stop dreaming and follow these 4 simple tips!
1 Hair Care Routine
First things first; your routine is very important. This one is easy because you're already doing most of it. After a refreshing bath/shower and getting ready for your day, before you're about to detangle and start styling your hair, do a 10 min scalp massage to increase blood flow to your scalp. This strengthens the cells of your hair follicles, promotes hair growth, helps transfer natural hair sebum to the rest of the hair, and helps to promote a healthy scalp.
Only wash your hair once a week. This prevents you from stripping your hair's natural protective oils. Go all out for your hair and set a hair date once every week to take extra special care of your hair.
Sunday's are dedicated to my hair when I do a hot oil treatment with my Hair Glow Serum or a banana mask once a month before I wash and condition.
2. No Chemicals!
Say no to chemicals like relaxers, perm lotions, and hair products that contain parabens. These chemicals are harmful to your hair causing breakage and dryness.
No one likes dry, dull, and damaged hair of course. Opt for products made from natural ingredients and that are sulfate-free.
3. Less To No Heat
Heat from blow dryers and straightens damages your natural hair's natural oil barrier and can cause brittleness and split ends that prevent healthy growth.
I literally only do a blowout once a year, and that's only to trim my ends and do a length check.
4. Slay Your Hair With Satin
Satin is super beneficial for your hair. Unlike cotton, satin doesn't absorb your hair's natural oils, doesn't cause friction to your hair, and prevents breakage.
